This Sunday and Monday, Barack Obama and John McCain will continue to cater to the fringe elements of the pro-amnesty movement with speeches before the National Council of La Raza.

As Michelle Malkin pointed out in a column today, La Raza (which literally means “The Race”) is a “radical ethnic nationalist outfit that abuses your tax dollars and milks PC politics to undermine our sovereignty.”

Go here to access Malkin’s column and find out more.

Citizen Letter of Protest

Grassfire is launching an Emergency Citizen Letter protesting these appearances by McCain and Obama. We have arranged with our friends at the San Diego Minutemen to present the Citizen Letters at rallies this Sunday and Monday in San Diego.

But we simply cannot show up with a few thousand letters. I feel we must have 50,000 Citizen Letters to deliver -- and I need them by FRIDAY NOON.

Please go here to join me in signing the Citizen Letter.

Then, forward this message to all your key contacts and ask them to join you.

Phone/Fax Blitz continues

I know this new Emergency Citizen Letter is coming right in the middle of our phone and fax blitz of Congress calling for the reinstatement of the Secure Fence Act. But the details of the La Raza event and the opportunity to make a statement with this Citizen Letter came up suddenly.

Please take action on both fronts -- the Citizen Letter and the Phone/Fax blitz.

(By the way, we are hearing from our team members that the phone lines are very busy on Capitol Hill! Keep it up!)

Thanks for taking action!

P.S. Again, I feel I must have 50,000 Citizen Letters to make a statement -- and we have just a few hours. I must have the petitions by Noon Friday. Please sign the Citizen Letter. I have posted some resources on La Raza for you here.

P.P.S. And please keep the phone calls and faxes heading into D.C. We could reach 100,000 contacts in 48 hours! You can still schedule faxes here.

Please accept my family's thanks for this excellent article which relieved some ot the anxiety we felt listening to Obama and McCain revel in their plans to help illegal aliens once elected because aliens, too, are humans.

Yes. Illegal Aliens are humans, but so are needy Americans who are now stretched to the limit with $4 a gallon gas and inflating food prices to say nothing of the mortgage crisis.  When Sen. McCain was photographed on a beautiful beach in Columbia recently, I wondered why he wasn't in Columbus, Ohio with the suffering people there.

Obama claims fame because he is a "Post-racial" candidate, yet everything he has done has worsened the racial problems by polarizing the African-Americans, by pandering shamelessly to the extreme fringe of Hispanics, and by using race in his campaign while denying it.

Thanks to Lou Dobbs and Michel Malkin and others like them.

I WILL NOT VOTE FOR HIM.....period.

i have been alife long republican and he has totally ruined everything republican for me.

i will not vote, or i will vote for an independent.  i will not donate another red cent to his campaign or the republican party. the republicans better get their crap together if they are going to win this election. i swear they will not win with Mc Cain speaking to la raza and going back to the amnesty for illegals.
