The U.S. Senate is considering voting on a massive $1.2 trillion Carbon tax that they believe would help “save the planet” from man-made global warming.

Passage of this tax would have a devastating impact on our economy--sharply raising the price of gas (by as much as $1.40 per gallon), raise taxes and demand emissions reductions that can’t be realized.

But even as the bill is being debated, there are growing
concerns in the Senate about the timing of the bill and
       citizen response.

Senate Environmental and Public Works Chairman Barbara
Boxer when asked what she was doing to calm the growing
concerns of her colleagues, replied, “My concern is just
getting the bill out there. We’ve done that. From here on out,
it’s up to each Senator to decide.”

There you have it. Barbara Boxer is leaving it up to the Senators to decide--which means you and I have a short window of opportunity to impress upon members of the Senate that the Carbon Tax (S. 3036) is a frighteningly bad idea!

Click here to see how you can personally impact this critical issue.

Time for Grassroots to Cool the Global Warming Debate

Over the next several days I want to inundate EVERY Senate office with faxes demanding a “NO” vote for the Lieberman-Warner Carbon Tax (S. 3036).

Go here to schedule personalized faxes to key members of
the Senate, including your two Senators.

If you prefer to send your own faxes, we have provided all the contact information for you at the above website.

Either way, please take action. These are very serious times that demand our full efforts. I look forward to your quick response.

Timing is EVERYTHING

To be clear, our Capitol contacts have told us Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is planning on keeping the Lieberman-Warner bill on the Senate floor at least until sometime next week.

We need to use this time to make a clear and profound impression on EACH and EVERY Senator by swamping them with faxes demanding a “NO” vote on the Carbon Tax Bill.

Your quick support right now is both necessary and appreciated!

I am just simply tired of footing everyone's bill!!  Our paychecks aren't greatly increasing like the cost of everything else, it won't be too long before the American people literally drown.  The Senators and Congressmen are so out of touch with the every day people, they simply do not understand, they're not grasping the seriousness of this situation!  And yet they think it's OK to add yet another TAX??  THEY'VE GONE OFF THE DEEP END!!

I am hearing grumblings that someone quoted as "high up in Finance" meaning an official from America who controls a large sector of America's money, literally is praying for America to go broke so that they can merge America with Canada and Mexico and open up that great new "Super Highway".  What's the word on this little tid bit ?

I was outraged as I listened to John Kerry being interviewed about the Boxer-Lieberman bill. He indicated that we need this piece of legislation to save us from ourselves...to save the planet! What America needs is a congress that will save us from ECONOMIC COLLAPSE and not buy into to this alarmist environmental scare philosophy. Our economy is hanging by a thread...it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize the recipe for disaster is everywhere we turn. I suppose Mr Kerry is not worried about the economy, nor the cost of gas for his car or jet, or how he will heat his numerous homes, because he lives on Ms. Heinz's fortune. If the American masses could be so lucky. It's time we kick all these privileged, self-serving politicians OUT. We need change. I might add that the apathy and indifference of the average American is disturbing. Why is there not a greater out cry from the people? We apparently have enjoyed prosperity for so long that it is being taken for granted?
