Radical activists have succeeded in convincing judges to ignore the will of the people and follow Massachusetts courts in okaying gay marriage in California.

This ruling is a clear warning to all that the same-sex marriage debate is heating up again!

Be Ready. Be Mobilized

As the California ruling demonstrates radical, same-sex advocates are aggressively working to advance their cause any way they can.

The only clear hope to protect marriage and the family in America is through a federal Marriage Protection Amendment.

That is why Grassfire has launched a new national petition to rally 100,000 citizens over the next two weeks who are demanding a federal Marriage Amendment defining marriage once and for all as the union between one man and one woman. Click here for more.

Negative impact on our culture

Unless we are as vigilant as the radical same-sex advocates, they will succeed at re-defining marriage--setting off a chain-reaction that will negatively impact our culture, and more specifically our children and families.

That’s why we want to move so quickly on this issue, and why we are dependent on your help to get our message out to others who want marriage and family protected.

Action Item--Alert Your Friends

As we have seen in Massachusetts, and now California, anti-marriage groups will use the courts to undermine and ultimately destroy our marriage.

church-leaders urging them to get active by clicking here.

It is time for grassroots America to again weigh-in on the marriage debate, and put intense pressure on Congress to take the necessary steps to protect marriage and our families through a federal Marriage Protection Amendment.

Thank you for standing with Grassfire to save marriage.

Steve

I don't have much use for homosexuals...the thought of what they do with and to each other is disgusting to me, so I try not to think about these perverse creatures at all.

That said, consider this: I don't know (and don't care) whether their proclivities are natural & inherent because of some defective system in their bodies and minds, or whether same-gender attraction is a learned behavior. The points to me are that their attractions are perversions of nature and their behaviors are degenerate.

I distinguish between the two parts...and base the distinction on my own tendencies. As a young man, my attractions to were women -- all women except fat ones. My behavior inclination was to bed, or back seat or bear rug or wherever, as many of them as possible; but I understood that such behavior was unacceptable and dangerous and so, I controled my inclinations and restrained my behaviors. Had I not, my own behaviors would have been degenerate.

There seems to be little that modern science or psychology can do to 'cure' these miserable, pathetic beings of their attractions, but I think we must begin to insist that they restrain their behaviors, else they be legitimately described as degenerate (which I believe indiscriminate sexual liaisons to be).

The very fact of their perversion seems to have a destabilizing effect on their psychies and there is a body of evidence, now generally suppressed by the American Psychological Association, that homosexuals (both types) have a higher rate of psychological instability than the general heterosexual population, which causes wildly self-destructive behavior and widespread participation in risky sexual behaviors...and seems also to be the root of their desire to seek social acceptance for their perversions through outrageous and coercive behaviors that they hope will eventually numb the public through continuous exposure to those behaviors via slanted media coverage that highlights 'injustices' done to them and minimizes consideration of their actual conduct...that's counter-intuitive to me, but it seems to be working...go figure.

Only in rare cases are homosexual relationships stable and long-lasting, in the sense that the couple becomes life partners...although an argument may be made that heterosexual relationships are trending toward the temporary, the fact is that the majority of heterosexual relationships tend to be very long lasting and provide a stable environment in which to raise children; which is the ultimate purpose of coupling.

We'll never to rid ourselves of homosexuals and homosexuality and if affording them some level of emotional comfort will help ease their distress then I think we can accommodate them within some legal format...and while I object to the state licensing marriage, I understand the purpose of it -- to facilitate the transfer of wealth & property from one generation to the next. The real validating agency for human unions must be the couple's church of choice...and no Bible-based church that I know of sanctions such perversions of union.

So, in my mind, if the states want to license homesexual unions, then no real harm is done...it's strictly a legal arrangement, with attendant legal responsibilities imposed on the parties involved. I draw the line at adoption of children...no favoritism should be shown to homosexuals, as is now the case in the several states wherein gay couples are allowed to adopt...they must be held to the same standards as heterosexual couples...Lesbians who now choose to be artificially inseminated in order to bear children are no different than unmarried heterosexual women who breed with whatever guy they choose to breed with...but in both cases, the child's welfare must take precedence over the wishes and behaviors of the (alleged) adults in the situation.

There is no hidden right to marry for any of us, and those California Supreme Court justices who dreamed up the right to marry and to have a family clearly have been smoking something other than a fine, premium hand-rolled cigar. I hope the people of California propose and are able to pass a constitutional amendment forbidding 'gay marriage,' but until that happens I think we have to accept the notion that offering those wretched creatures some form of relationship stability, with attendant legal & social responsibilities, is a fact...our efforts, it seems to me, must be to push governmental authorities to require compliance by these perverse couples with the law as is required for heterosexual couples.
