Grassfire Interview with Tara Setmayer

I have just concluded an absolutely compelling interview with Tara Setmayer, who serves as the Communications Director for Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA). Tara has been an incredible help to Grassfire in our efforts to free Ramos and Compean, and was present at the recent Ramos and Compean appeal in New Orleans.

I wanted her to give you an "insider's" glimpse into the appeal, the case and what lies ahead for these two imprisoned Border Agents--who today (Tuesday) are spending their 328th day in solitary confinement!

Listen to my interview with Tara:

Lawmakers want Ramos and Compean home for Christmas

We have just received an email from Rep. Rohrabacher who has joined with Rep. Delahunt (D-MA) and Rep. Reyes (D-TX) to introduce a resolution asking for the immediate commutation of Ramos and Compean's sentences.

"This obvious miscarriage of justice has always cried out
for the attention of elected officials on both sides of the
aisle," said Rohrabacher, "and it's gratifying to see there's
a new wave of bi-partisan support for Ramos and Compean."

Order your "Free Ramos and Compean" yellow ribbons

Having the Judge Jolly, from the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans state he believed the prosecution "overreacted", gives everyone new hope that Ramos and Compean will be reunited with their families--perhaps before Christmas!

Until Ramos and Compean are returned, I'm asking ALL members of our team to show their solidarity by ordering and displaying "Free Ramos and Compean" yellow ribbons on packages, doors, trees, windows, cars, clothing and more!

The commitment of friends like you, who are doggedly working with us to keep Ramos and Compean in the news, has made a tremendous impact on this case. Please continue to share their story with friends and family. Invite them to sign our petition by clicking here.

Thank you for standing with Grassfire to free Ramos and Compean.

Commute their sentences?????  Whatever happened to full pardons??  Who is going to file the papers to have Johnny Sutton prosecuted for the longest possible list of charges including political hatchet jobs???

Looks like we're going to wienie out on this one also.  Once again the political class is UNTOUCHABLE.

If BILLORY were not in the political class, they would be in prison for a very long time.  Are we sure they have ONLY 900 FBI files??

OOOOOOOPS!!!!!!  Better shut up, maybe they have mine also.

Yes they should be given a FULL PARDON and they should be rewarded money for having gone thru all this to begin with. Johnny Sutton should be forced to step down and not be allowed any future benfits from the Government. He should not be allowed to practice law anywhere in the United States. And Bush should be punished in some way for ignoring this case and stopping it from the get go.
