#1-- Abortionist's illegal procedures exposed & suspended in Detroit
A Michigan abortionist's medical license was suspended after an undercover investigation exposed a slew of illegal procedures--including using dirty medical instruments and violating the 24 hour waiting period.

View the shocking video footage of the abortionist offering to perform abortions on underage girls.

#2-- Pro-Life Law Firm encourages the nation to unite against abortion
The Thomas More Law Center in Michigan stood up to opposition from the pro-life movement in the past, now refuses to back down from directly challenging Roe v. Wade. "We must never forget that ending all abortions is the ultimate goal" says attorney Robert Muise, criticizing the movement's "lethargy". The center aims to establish fertilization at the moment of conception, and thus overturn pro-abortion laws and court rulings. (More info)

#3-- Giuliani refuses to meet with prominent conservative leaders
Rudy Giuliani is circumventing the most powerful conservative leaders in the nation, and instead directing his energies towards the grassroots activist level. However, opposition comes from the Arlington Group and organizations such as Focus on the Family and the Family Research Council. Giuliani's campaign official has said "Giuliani does not need the support of the nation's leading social conservatives to mobilize conservative activists." His controversial views on abortion and homosexuality are at odds with right wing conservatives and align more with Clinton's than the other Republican candidates.

#4-- Planned Parenthood Center Suspected of Fraud Opens in IllinoisAurora, Illinois, is up in arms over the opening of a Planned Parenthood center this last Tuesday. Anti-abortion protestors gathered on the sidewalks, praying and holding signs in front of the newly opened building. Planned Parenthood actually used its subsidiary, Gemini Office Development LLC, to obtain building permits and licenses. "We kept it private from our opponents, and we did it for a good reason" says the President of Planned Parenthood for the Chicago area. Planned Parenthood has faced significant opposition from anti-abortion groups, who plan on taking legal action against the organization and continuing protests. (See Source)

#5-- High cases of breast cancer may be due to high numbers of abortions
New studies have confirmed what scientists have known for years: abortions can be classified as carcinogens, and determine the number of breast cancer cases in a given population. "Abortion raises breast cancer risk" says Karen Malec, a representative for the Coalition on Abortion and Breast Cancer. Unfortunately, pro-abortionists deny such a connection and refuse to accept that this relationship could be eliminated if abortion was prohibited. (More information)

#6-- Presidential Aspirations: Hillary Clinton to overturn ban on Stem Cell Research
Hillary Clinton has said that she would take immediate action to overturn President Bush's ban on government funding in the areas of embryonic stem cell research as President. Instead, she thinks that opening the door for embryonic stem cell research will help the national economy. Clinton is quoted as saying, "By ignoring or manipulating science, the Bush administration is letting our economic competitors get an edge in the global economy." Clinton forgoes any sense of moral implication by making it an economic issue, though daring to accuse Bush of limiting the "ban on hope". (Source)

A recognized grassroots leader in the fight for the unborn,
Grassfire has rallied more than half-a-million citizens with their "Petition For Life" petition that has been presented
to key leaders in Washington and beyond.

Right now there are a number of key Pro-Life pieces of legislation in Congress--notably Sen. Brownback's Ultrasound Informed Consent Act, legislation requiring that a doctor perform an ultrasound and then share the results with the woman and allow her to view the images before performing an abortion.

Stand with Grassfire and defending the rights of the pre-born in our nation by adding your name to our petition right now!

Strange how people in states like Texas have been spreading the word that the media areas in new york and washington are trying to get their candidates endorsed while ignoring all the candidates that americans want in every other state in the nation.

In Texas the straw poll was clear:

 Hunter-40%

Fred-20%

Paul-17%

As you look across this country the straw polls continue this trend and or split into differences by geographic differences.

But the numbers do not match "propoganda" of Guilani leading.

As most people in Texas think we will ignore the national polls of any type and media this time around. We will let the candidates in person meetings, straw polls guide us, and finally the caucuses, conventions and primaries choose the candidates not the special interests that back these media groups.

Personally from the straw polls, which for now is the only real data out there at all, i can see a

Guiliani, Fred,Paul, Romney battle worth having and soon.

If we can shut up the media's confusion then we can have this long awaited debate.

The other guys i see have strong holds in some states but no consistency.

So the sooner we can get to the primaries at this point the better in my mind. I and the rest of the Texas leadership is tired of the media trying to steal our votes and get a democrat like candidate to be elected if they and the democrats dont win the election.

Abortion kills more than babies, the issue is death to a campaign. The issue has no business in national politics, any more than does religion. Yes, killing innocent babies is wrong. But the answer will never be a Constitutional amendment, the efforts for which would only divide us more. I don't say this because I am anti-life. I say it because I am a constructionist and a political realist. This is a STATES RIGHTS issue! Nothing in the Constitution grants the federal government the right to either ban or allow this procedure. Roe v. Wade should indeed be thrown out and then let the states decide to outlaw it, as was done before. As an experienced political consultant, I can tell you for a fact the this issue kills the chances of good candidates. We need a real president and honest congresscritters but the voters will never accept the abortion issue as a main issue for electing someone. Let's elect good people to office based on their merits and experience and leave the death issue to the states, after the good guys have thrown Roe v. Wade out.
