Contact Johnny Sutton

Tomorrow, July 31, The Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Organizations, Human Rights and Oversight will hold a hearing entitled, “The Case of Ramos and Compean: The Across Border Context.

The hearing will begin at 2 p.m., is open to the public, and will explore the Mexican government’s role in the prosecution of the two border agents currently serving 11 and 12 year prison sentences.

Unfortunately, U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton has refused to testify at the hearing. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher said of Sutton’s refusal, “The Department of Justice and Homeland Security have done their best to impede our investigation … by not providing documents and now refuse[ing] to send the proper witnesses to account for their decisions. This shows an arrogance and continued disrespect for congressional oversight by this Administration.”

Action Item—Contact Johnny Sutton’s office

I’m appalled by Sutton’s actions and complete lack of respect. That is why I’m urging ALL members of our team to contact his office over the next several days to voice your outrage over his actions/inaction.

Here is his contact information: 210/384-7400

I want to flood his offices with thousands of angry phone calls over these next several days. Let him know that while he might not want the truth about Ramos and Compean revealed, you certainly do!

Thank you for standing with Grassfire to free Ramos and Compean.

When a person of character screws up and becomes aware of it, they apologize and try to correct the error. When a wuss screws up, they just keep sticking to their story and hide from the truth. No wonder the judge in the Hazleton, PA case felt so bold to flaunt his open border stance last week. He has Sutton and Bush behind him.

It all smells pretty fishy to me. I hope some investigative agent is making headway on revealing to us the truth behind this mess. This and a plethora of other Government scandals make me VERY suspicious of our Government.
