Your Senators Are Saying You Told Them You Support Amnesty!

Senators are returning to Congress today and are announcing to the media that the amnesty bill is “gaining momentum” and most people they spoke to during the break support amnesty!

This from the Washington Post this morning:

“Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.), who led negotiations on the bill for his party, said the flood of angry calls and protests that greeted the deal two weeks ago has since receded every day.”

Rep. Jeff Flake (AZ): "The last few days have really turned things around."

Because they are getting less calls and faxes than the first days following the bill’s announcement, they are saying this is a sign of support! This is political trickery at its worst. We know their offices have been flooded with outraged citizens. Grassfire team members delivered petitions personally to in-state offices of 96 of 100 senators.

With the Senate back in session today debating the amnesty bill, we must take action immediately to counteract this lie that citizens support amnesty!

Two Urgent Action Items

#1 -- Schedule Faxes
We need faxes to go out today and tomorrow. I want those Senate fax machines buzzing every moment between now and the final vote (expected by Friday).

Go here to schedule faxes to your Senators.

#2 -- Call your Senators and these key senators:
I’m asking you to call your two Senators right now and say you oppose the amnesty bill. The switchboard is: 202-224-3121

Key Senators:
Kyl (Bill Architect, AZ): 202-224-4521
McConnell (KY--Minority Leader): 202-224-2541
Lott (MS--Republican Whip): 202-224-6253
Brownback (KS): 202-224-6521
Isakson (GA): 202-224-3643
Webb (VA): 202-224-4024
Burr (NC): 202-224-3154

I retired as a special agent with INS, and I also served 10 years in the U.S. Border Patrol. I worked both land borders and in the D.C. metro area. I'm telling you from my 1986 amnesty bill experience, this is another amnesty!

The American people will be looked upon as weak by all the third world. They will continue to demand amnesties in the future. This will never end!

Ask your senator how we can determine if someone is really from the country they declare? What if they are wanted for a crime in their native country, all they have to do is select someplace else, that shares a common language. In addition, they provide any name and date of birth that they select.

What prevents aliens that are in the U.S. on tourist or student visas from altering their name and/or their date of birth, just to get a lifetime permit to live in the USA? If they obtained a U.S. temporary visa, and we didn't fingerprint them, there is no way to determine that they are supplying false information.

Why wouldn't every country in the world that is an enemy of the USA, send spies to obtain the amnesty? How could we determine if they are spies or terrorists?

The senators keep saying "let them come out of the shadows". They must be blind, because I see illegals everywhere. Those arent green card holders that are mowing all those lawns. Last time I was in Wal Mart, I didn't see any illegals in shadows. They were in the cahiers line, the aisles, the gardening, and automotive sections. And they were very well lit!

If my senators from Georgia want to come with me on any Sunday, I'll introduce them to hundreds of illegal aliens down at the Brunswick City soccer fields.

STOP THIS AND ALL AMNESTIES!

They are lying to us.  Their job is to serve the American people and they are not doing it.  I called today 4 times.  They don't care about the American people, only big business and it must stop.

They are not in the shadows, if fact they are arrogant.  I wore a "Proud to be an American" shirt on Memorial Day and got dirty looks.  What a disgrace
