Ted Kennedy invited the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Immigration Law Center, the National Council of La Raza, the Service Employees International Union, the Chamber of Commerce and the Essential Worker Immigration Coalition to help him craft his comprehensive immigration-reform bill. Completely shutout of the negotiations was the entire GOP leadership--except for John McCain--who may be the last one Republicans want representing their interests regarding border security! Even more outrageous was Kennedy spokeswoman, Laura Capps press release saying that her boss has been working with "…many Senators and members of Congress trying to draft a new bill," adding that "…the bipartisan coalition behind the bill remains strong and intact."

Does bipartisan mean McCain?
Any attempt to draft a legitimate immigration bill that would satisfy the American people has been stolen away by "open-border" lobbyists! ++ Citizen Petitions to Ted Kennedy! The American people are being ignored. We have been sold out to "open border" lobbyists who have effectively hijacked the comprehensive immigration-reform bill--a bill that includes an easy citizenship for illegals and weaker enforcement provisions than were included in the Senate approved bill last year! The voice of the American people MUST BE HEARD over the lobbyists, which is why Grassfire is taking hundreds of thousands of petitions to Sen. Kennedy's office this Thursday (March 1)…but we need your help.

++ Alert your friends Over the next 48 hours, we are asking ALL members of our Border Security team to help us rally an additional 25-30,000 citizen signatures leading up to our presentation!

This is truly an EMERGENCY PRESENTATION!

We cannot afford to be silent while liberal leadership creates a bureaucratic nightmare that will endanger national security! This Kennedy plan undercuts wages for citizens, provides immigration lawyers with limitless clientele, and gives untold political leverage to various "open borders" advocacy groups!

Please take immediate action by forwarding this vital message today to your friends. Encourage them to stand for border security, and against the Kennedy bill by clicking here.

Thank you for your fast action.

The scarey thing  is how the white house is turning a deaf ear to these issues.  They are forging ahead without hearing the voices of the people who elected them.

A society that would jail upstanding citizens and let criminals go free is nothing more than tyranny.  What a social injustice. I never thought Iwould live to see this day.

What next? Will they send out National Guard troops to hold back Americans from defending our borders.  This is a job they should be doing.

Kennedy should be impeached. He has been bullying Americans for way too long.

I have written and written to eveyone and anyone in Washington.  I have not had one response.

Wake up America.  They are giving our country away, not to speak of our sovreignty. Our government is jailing upstanding citizens and letting crimials walk free.

I find this very disturbing.

I have 19 grandchildren who will be the real ones who will suffer in the years to come and I'M MAD AS HELL about this!

How dare those jerks in Washington turn their backs on the people who put them there for such an outrageous proposal.

And now, we're going to do what?  Consult with Mexican authorities about building a fence on our borders?

Do the members of Congress and the White House think the people in this country are STUPID?
