Ted Kennedy invited the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Immigration Law Center, the National Council of La Raza, the Service Employees International Union, the Chamber of Commerce and the Essential Worker Immigration Coalition to help him craft his comprehensive immigration-reform bill. Completely shutout of the negotiations was the entire GOP leadership--except for John McCain--who may be the last one Republicans want representing their interests regarding border security! Even more outrageous was Kennedy spokeswoman, Laura Capps press release saying that her boss has been working with "…many Senators and members of Congress trying to draft a new bill," adding that "…the bipartisan coalition behind the bill remains strong and intact."

Does bipartisan mean McCain? Any attempt to draft a legitimate immigration bill that would satisfy the American people has been stolen away by "open-border" lobbyists! ++ Citizen Petitions to Ted Kennedy! The American people are being ignored. We have been sold out to "open border" lobbyists who have effectively hijacked the comprehensive immigration-reform bill--a bill that includes an easy citizenship for illegals and weaker enforcement provisions than were included in the Senate approved bill last year!
