Church goers leave Obama
CNSNews.com is reporting that one of the major turns in the Democratic presidential race revealed by the Pennsylvania results is that churchgoers are leaving the Obama camp. Exit poll results show that Obama lost all categories of churchgoers -- from occasional to more than weekly. This is a significant change from earlier primaries that saw Obama win the church vote. This may be one of the clearest readings on the impact of Rev. Wright and Obama's comments at the San Francisco fundraiser (Bittergate). Obama also lost white voters, gun owners and blue collar voters in Pennsylvania.

Obama's General Problem is the Dem's Crisis
So now the Dems have a real problem. Obama is consistently getting beat by Hillary in the key states as well as with the key demographics that will likely decide the election in November. Pennsylvania and Ohio could well determine who is the next president. So Obama is looking weaker in the general election.

But are we to think that HIllary will win these same constituencies in a general election? Churchgoers? Gun owners? White males? Let's just say McCain is smiling right now as Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos" marches on.

Can we call Terrorists "Islamic"?
Please take a moment to read Tony Blankley's article "Rising Euro-Muslim Tensions." Blankley discusses the merging of the rise of Islamicism and political correctness which has author Mark Steyn awaiting trial in Canada for writing a book that "warned against the dangers of Islam overwhelming Europe." Meanwhile, a Muslim leader is calling on John McCain to no longer call the Islamic terrorists "Islamic."

Blankley points out that the tensions in Europe are reaching a near-boiling point as Europeans fear losing their culture to a growing Islamic wave of immigration combined with politically correct laws which do not allow Europeans to give preeminence to their own European culture.

Bush continues to push SPP agenda
Although the event is not generating as much attention as their last summit, President Bush and leaders from Mexico and Canada are meeting this week in New Orleans to continue the Security and Prosperity Partnership. As WND's Jerome Corisi has pointed out here and here, this meeting has been given a new name (North American Leaders Summit) but has the same basic goals.

Ethanol causing global fuel shortage, starvation
Yesterday was EarthDay which meant we had to endure another round of meaningless efforts to stop the alleged catastrophe of global warming. Now it's becoming more and more clear that the real threat to the earth is Climate Alarmism itself. We now know that the push for ethanol is causing rising global food prices that is already causing stavation according to a U.N. official. The UK Telegraph reports: "The UN says it takes 232kg of corn to fill a 50-litre car tank with ethanol. That is enough to feed a child for a year." Never mind the debate over whether producing ethanol makes economic or environmental sense -- Al Gore's Climate Alarmism already has real victims in third-world countries where people cannot afford to eat.

Maybe it's time to re-think Climate Alarmism. I'm thrilled to report that about 90,000 citizens have joined with Grassfire in just one week to stand against Gore's Climate Alarmism and the coming $1.2 trillion Carbon tax (coming in June). See below to sign.

“Environmentalists” are not interested in saving the planet, they’re anti-American, anti-progress, communists, socialists and crack pots. The real reason we need to desperately seek and develop alternative sources of energy has to do with national security, not environmentalism.

I’ve been following recent progress in this sector and I’m impressed. We now have an electric car that can blow the doors off a Corvette, a new solar technology that is super cheap and produces endless panels as thin as a piece of paper and several companies are now using gasification almost exactly like the Fischer-Tropsch process that Germany and Japan used to make synthetic fuels in WWII only they’re using solid waste instead of coal. The future of alternative and renewable energy is very bright.

Regardless of your political stripe, I strongly urge you to support intelligent alternative energy sources. If you’re an “environmentalist” good, another useful idiot, even though your reasoning is perverse, the outcome will be beneficial anyway. If you’re a “conservative” do it for your country’s security!

BTW – if anyone thinks ethanol isn’t as good as gasoline, ask the drivers of the Indianapolis 500 what they think – they all had to use 100% ethanol last year!

Ethanol from food crops – BAD
Ethanol from waste - GOOD

billgow, thanks fro the post. I think the lack of willingness of environmentalists to support, for example, nuclear power exposes the radical nature of the Climate Alarmist agenda. Nuclear creates virtually no CO2 emissions, has very little waste, yet the enviros oppose it. THanks again.
