FireSociety Exclusive:
Tom Tancredo Discusses Border
Security And His Presidential Run

Click here to listen to the Tom Tancredo interview.

Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo recently gave a few minutes of his time for an interview to discuss the border security crisis and his presidential run.

Rep. Tancredo is clearly one of the nation's foremost leaders in standing against the rising tide of illegal immigration. He has also been closely connected to the situation of imprisoned border agents Ramos and Compean. Since Grassfire has worked so extensively on both these issues, I was very interested to hear what the Congressman had to say -- and a bit surprised by his view of the possibility of the Kennedy amnesty bill passing the House.

For more perspective on Rep. Tancredo, you may want to view his speech at the conservative C-PAC conference. Tancredo's C-PAC speech video is posted on FireSociety here.

I also asked the Congressman about his presidential campaign -- is he a one issue candidate or is he staking out a platform to address other key issues facing our nation? Those interested can find out more about the Congressman's candidancy at TeamTancredo.com.

Many of the stands Tancredo takes, I can support.  However, I cannot

support his arrogant and rudeness related to his cigar smoking in his

Government office.  This uncaring attitude toward the health of others is

not something I want to see in the highest office of the land.  Sorry.
