[article image] It's the same old story, but with a sick twist.

A soft-spoken man comes into town, carrying his pamphlets and holy scriptures. At first he's dismissed, but when he speaks, he has a sincerity that belies his somewhat serene, if stodgy, exterior. The message he preaches is one of utmost importance, and gradually he gains attention and legitimacy from the surrounding community.

The atmosphere is ripe for a revival- there's been a noticeable "postmodern" ambivalence to theology, and there would be a well-timed reconsideration about personal belief around this time. Recent social changes have paved the way for a new kind of doctrine, and the culture, searching to find an identity, cleaves on to the new preacher.

His call is the old tried-and-true, almost word for word: Turn or Burn!

He paints a picture of a dangerous future- one where the light of day would strike people dead in the streets, and burning rain falls, destroying everything in its path. The world today, he says, is full of non-believers who are paving the path for their own destruction, and only a total and honest conversion will save them.

The masses, impressed by the imagery the preacher casts, repents of its sins and decides to embrace the new lifestyle advocated by this once-rejected man. Rejecting material possessions, the believers live good, wholesome lives, choosing products based on their approval by their leader, trying to follow his commandments, if not his hypocritical lifestyle.

Invigorated with their new-found faith, the new community of believers begins to attack the rest of society. You see them now, forcing their perspectives down other's throats, forcing conversions through techniques of shame and humiliation, putting up banners and evangelizing on the streets.

Their way is the only way, no amount of debating or questioning will deter them from seeing their ideal kingdom lived out on the earth. When their dogma is questioned, they erupt angrily, ignoring reason and choosing instead to spout the same propaganda taught by their leader.

Yes, it is a new religion, but it has used the post-religious sentiment of our jaded society to a whole new level, substituting God for Science, and keeping the methodology for furthering their political purposes.

The problem is that this is less of a religion, and more of a cult. In fact, as far as science goes, it only takes the parts it likes and rejects the rest. If this page in the book is good, they'll keep it, but if a study questions their claims, it is simply not scientific. Instead, it was probably created by demons working for the devil incarnate, here, the Oil Companies and Haliburton. (Just don't tell Michael Moore- he might still own stock in it...)

Especially relevantly, their leader, Al Gore, makes claims no human should- that he can predict the future. Even when it comes to the weather. The truth is that nobody knows the future when it comes to weather patterns. Our weather is such a diverse and ever-changing environment that no computer- not even the fastest in the world- can accurately predict whether it will really rain tomorrow or not. And yet Gore claims to know that all over the world temperatures will rise because of the sins of man- breath.

The truth is that in the last 12 months, global temperatures, by four different global measures, have been all-around cooler than they have ever been in the last decade. The polar ice caps are growing back. If anything, we're headed for a global cooling, which is what the rabid environmentalists were predicting years ago due to, you guessed it, CO2 again.

Now I must make something very clear here. I am not saying whatsoever that conservation is a bad thing. In fact, I believe very firmly that increased efficiency benefits the economy and responsibility (which should have been the message the whole time) is invaluable. In fact, I personally believe it is my personal responsibility to take care of the world I've been entrusted to and not waste it.

However that is not where these Zionist zealots want to go with this. They want to take it to the level where as a society we place even less regard for human life and begin population control, where we are told what to buy and what to use- which product is right and which companies should be shut down. If they get their way, our country will never be the same, and the freedoms we take for granted now will be taken away in the name of the higher power of Green.

America, we've been the targets of fear-mongering. And in this case, the danger is only in the minds of those with political agendas, who want to change our society to be much less free and export their ideals to other suffering countries.

Its time we saw this for what it was- a cult, complete with false prophesies, hypocritical leaders and outwardly noble but truthfully dangerous intentions. Hopefully there can be some who are saved from its dangers, before its too late.

Why the Environmental Movement is Responsible for Global Warming

By listening to Al Gore, other environmentalists and the media you start to get the impression that the United States is almost solely responsible for Global Warming through it’s production of greenhouse gases.   Nothing could be farther from the truth.  We do, as a nation produce more greenhouse gas on a per capita basis than any other country, but that very fact can be directly attributed to the workings of those same environmentalists who for years have blocked every attempt to generate nuclear power – the only efficient way to generate power, “yet discovered”, on a large scale that does not create greenhouse gases.

Let me be clear, “Environmentalists” are the main reason we, as a country, produce so much greenhouse gas on a per capita basis.   Because of their 30-year stance (and the lack of political will to go against that stance) against the development of nuclear power in this country we produce almost double the greenhouse gases that we would be producing with a strong nuclear power generating capacity.

Approximately 50% of the greenhouse gases produced in the United States are the result of the production of electricity and it is probably just as high or higher in other parts of the world.  Nuclear power generates no greenhouse gases and global warming may not even be occurring at this time if the nuclear power industry had been allowed to develop in the United States and around the world as it has in places such as France and Lithuania.

Just think of the billions of tons of Greenhouse gases that would not have been produced if we, as a nation, would have continued to build nuclear power plants instead of the oil, coal and gas powered plants we rely on now for our power.  But the environmentalists wouldn’t let us and our politicians, ever afraid of losing votes, went blindly along.

Nuclear power is much stronger in Europe with about forty-two percent of their energy produced by nuclear fission.  Nuclear generation provides about 17% of world electricity, avoiding the emission of up to 2.3 billion tons of carbon dioxide annually.  France produces 76% and Lithuania produces 85.6% of its energy by nuclear fission. (http://infoweb.magi.com/~dwalsh/wfsesr.html)

In the United States, a lot of people and almost all environmentalists are antinuclear because of 3 Mile Island in 1979 and Chernobyl in 1986.  However, many experts say that it is a safe, clean, and reliable source of energy as proven by it’s long history in France.  Nuclear Fission produces no greenhouse gases, but does produce highly toxic radioactive wastes (which can be safely dealt with). (http://www.umich.edu/~gs265/society/greenhouse.htm)

As President, I would immediately call for the United States to embark on a strong nuclear power building program.  We have the land upon which to build the power plants (here in California we could throw a half dozen plants in Eastern San Bernardino County alone and no one would ever see them), we have technology that is extremely safe and we have an extremely safe depository for the waste in the Yucca Mountain facility that would be opened very soon if the politicians would quit being politicians and become statesmen and do what is right for the United States and the World.

If we converted almost all of our electrical power generation from oil, coal and natural gas to nuclear we would go a very long way towards lowering our greenhouse gas footprint and show the rest of the world that we will do what must be done to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas production.

One of the biggest problems facing this country has been it’s absolute lack of a comprehensive energy policy.  One of the main purposes of a Government should be to plan for the future.  Our Government and politicians refuse to do so because all they care about is the next election.  The “future” will be the next guy’s problem.  We need a comprehensive energy policy in this country that makes good, long-term sense.  Not one crafted by environmentalists, the media, big oil and other special interests that is designed solely to garner votes in the next election.

Thanks,
