Dear President (fill In the Blank),To listen to the all self proclaimed experts, and the grossly over-rated, self aggrandizing, media in this country, in perfect chorus with our self-serving, erudite politicians in both Houses of Congress, (which include some of the most unethical, unscrupulous, unique individuals America has to offer), one would get the notion that the situation in Iraq is a difficult situation at best and more likely “hopeless”. They say there are no easy or clear-cut answers. I along with a great many Americans could not disagree more. The world elite, The American media, and the Liberal elite of this country have pounded the idea of defeat into the minds of the American public until that is what they believe is the only alternative. The Liberals of America are succeeding in one of the most stealth coups in our history. The American public outcries did not convince the politicians; it was in fact, just the opposite. Constant and relentless psycho-babble repeated to the masses has long been an effective tool of power employed by such civilizations as the Pharaohs, the Romans, and the Babylonians. It has been perfected by such Historical characters as Caesar, Mussolini, Stalin, and Hitler. Even now it is being utilized by the likes of Hugo Chavez, Kim Jong-IL, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The Liberals have used a lighter, but no less effective version of the tool as their main weapon in the coup. The Conservative Right is not without their own sins. The spineless, “WINDSOCK” Republicans tuck their tails, collective fingers to the wind and hide. That, and not their support of the Bush policies on the war, is what cost them the Majority in Congress. I reference Joe Lieberman the only congressional politician left with a spine, removed from his party for his beliefs and re-elected as an idependent for his beliefs. The majority of Republicans have been perceived as being weak and without moral conviction. We expect this from Liberals but will not tolerate these traits in so-called Conservatives. It is clear to most Americans that the vast majority of Politicians in Federal Politics is more concerned with their own financial well-being, and their own selfish futures than they are with the ultimate fate of one of the Greatest Democracies ever forged. This is a very sad time for America Indeed. Until Korea, when this country went to war, we went to war to win! There was no worldwide outcry every time a bomb went astray. There were no court-martials for combat troops who engaged in battle and killed the “civilians” that engaged them. There was no worldwide uprising when we carpet bombed Berlin, or Tokyo or Nagano. No horrified, outraged media during the Battle of the Bulge, or the battle for Midway, or Peleliu, Iwo Jima, Tarawa or… God forbid Omaha Beach at Normandy! These were some of the bloodiest battles ever fought in any war at any time in History. Can you imagine the horrifying daily coverage of the bloody beaches on the coast of France, with tens of thousands of dead, dying and wounded? Given the rules established in this generation by the “enlightened” elite liberals for world peace (under the auspices of civility”) we would have lost WWII with nary a shot fired. FDR, Churchill, Eisenhower, Patton, and Nimitz, among other Great and Heroic Leaders of that era understood all too clearly the cost of defeat. I do not remember Truman consulting congress before he sent the Enola gay on its now infamous and fateful mission on that hot August night in 1945. He too understood the consequences of defeat. I believe we as a Nation have forgotten the lessons of our past. Victory in Iraq should be a simple concept, COMMIT TO WIN. Utilizing the greatest military on earth as it was designed to be used. Using whatever means necessary, to clean out foreign insurgents, and shut down and clean up the rampant Shiite militia groups, the rogue Sunni, Bathist, and any other problematic factions. A bar-fight is just plain silly when only one side agrees to the Marcus of Queensbury rules. There is not, and there has never been, anything remotely “civilized” about War. There is no practical way to fight a “politically correct” war. Our enemy knows this and they know the power of persuasion. They know that holding up a bodiless head is a fantastic psychologically powerful and effective weapon, and well worth the two or three days of outrage it will produce in the world media to help make their point. If you want to win, you will need to ignore the mindless babble from the media, keep the politicians, the pundits, and the disgruntled retired Generals out of the war. You will need to green light the military to accomplish the mission assigned them. If they are not allowed to use all means at their disposal, with very minimal and flexible “Rules of Engagement” to defeat the enemy where they are we will lose. The only other option is to follow the advice of the Liberals and retreat now. You will then need to bring all of our Uniformed home, from wherever they are around the globe as quickly as possible. For you will surely need them Home to defend what is left of this once proud and mighty Nation. May God Bless and Have Mercy on us All!!! Sincerely, Justin S. Roessler |
