1. Background: California State Senator Gilbert Cedillo, District 22, has tried to legislate Drivers Licenses for illegals, financial aid to illegal immigrant students and other aid, all at the cost of US Taxpayers. Cedillo apparently places a higher priority on illegals than the US citizens he was elected to represent. According to LA County Supervisor Antonovich, in 2005, illegal immigrants cost California Taxpayers 360 MILLION in health care and 160 MILLION in jail related expenses. This does not include huge impacts on the education system. A recently comissioned study by San Diego County, (see NC Times)estimates that illegal immigrants cost San Diego County over 256 MILLION dollars in 2006. 2. The Petition States" Senator Cedillo, stop your abuse of California Taxpayers by legislating aid for illegal immigrants.
