Background:
I don't know of other web-sites that would want to initiate a petition. Chinese goods are being blogged about elsewhere. In view of the more than numerous reports of "tainted" goods arriving from China and a trade deficit of over ONE TRILLION DOLLARS, CFTA, The Chinese Free Trade Agreement should be rescinded, emended, erased, or whatever other word you would like to use. If I were a businessman, I would have halted this "deal" a long time ago. Doesn't make sense to continue, just on the enormity of the TRADE DEFICIT alone. Simply put, we're still buying their's and they all but quit buying ours. This would be one of the steps for REAL CHANGE that is needed. Instead of typing, we sign and present. That's at least attempting to evoke change. At least stop it WHILE ALL CASES ARE BEING INVESTIGATED!!?? The Petition States:
We, the people of the United States, as assigned by this petition for a redress of grievences, voice our disagreement with CFTA, The Chinese Free Trade Agreement, and suggest and demand it's emendment upon presentation of this petition to the members of Congress.
