The under-told story of America's illegal immigration crisis is that hundreds of thousands of American citizens have become victims and even lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens. While every death in the Iraq War is charted, our government does not even bother to track information on the victims of illegal aliens. What we do know is this: in any given year, a minimum estimate of 230,000 illegal aliens are incarcerated in our prisons and 27% of their crimes are property or violent crimes. More info below.

FireSociety has initiatied a forum that we hope will become the basis for a clearinghouse of information on this under-told story.

Forum Guidelines
Due to the sensitive nature of this forum and its focused purpose, we have established specific guidelines for posting a thread in the "Victims of Illegals" forum.

1. Please start threads only for a specific victim of an illegal alien crime. DO NOT USE THIS FORUM FOR GENERAL POSTINGS!

3. You may start a thread for a victim of any type of serious crime.

4. Please use this style guide when naming your post:

Month XX, 20XX; Name of Victim; type of crime

5. If the victim is deceased, place RIP after the name.

6. Only post victims stories that have been documented by a third-party, legitimate news source. You must include a link to at least one source.

7. Include a brief synopsis; you may quote a portion (paragraph) of the linked news story.

How many victims are there?
As noted, there does not seem to be any official accounting of the victims of illegal aliens. That said, we know the number is extremely large, and growing.

25 Die daily -- According to Rep. Steve King, "The lives of 12 U.S. citizens would be saved who otherwise die a violent death at the hands of murderous illegal aliens each day. Another 13 Americans would survive who are otherwise killed each day by uninsured drunk driving illegals."

1,806-2,510 murdered annually -- Human Events columnist Mac Johnson could not find an official number, so he used his own methodology to come up with his conservative estimate of 1,806-2,510 people murdered annually by illegal aliens. Read his estimate here.

More than 230,000 illegal aliens incarcerated in given year -- A Grassfire.org anaysis of a GAO study found there are a minimum of 230,000 incarcerated illegals in the U.S. This is a minimum number. 98% of incarcerated illegals have committed at least two crimes. See also the original GAO study.

Criminal illegal aliens average 8 arrests; 12 percent for violent crimes. A another GAO study of a "study population" of 55,322 criminal illegals found that they averaged 8 arrests and per criminal illegal. 24 percent of the arrests were drug-related; 15 percent for property-related crimes and 12 percent of the arrests were for violent crimes (murder, robbery, assault and sex-related). This study population covered approximately 79% of criminal aliens in federal prison and just 23% of criminal aliens in state and local prisons, or about 31% overall. 5,992 homicide arrests by illegals in test group. The same GAO report documented 5,992 homicide arrests of criminal illegal aliens from the study group of 55,322.
