Sirs....The North American Union, put together by Pres. Bush, Vincente Fox, and Paul Martin of Canada can't be allowed it's inception in 2010. By then, you Mr. Bush will be gone, vacationing somewhere. Calderone has replaced Fox, and Martin will gone. We, the People cannot let this frenetic union take place. To the Pres. I say I backed you and gave my support after 9/11. As a Viet Nam War vet I supported you and the troops in the war on terror and more door to door searches should take place and no prisoners taken. No prisoners means no controversies about how they are treated. We've had people obtruncated and some of our troops are in prison for putting a pair of panties on a prisoners head and taking pictures of his manhood. Are you kidding me? John Murtha, Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, and the rest of their ilk should leave "war-enforcement to the troops. I don't agree, however with your insidious North American Union proposal.

To Mr. Martinez, Mr. Nelson, and Mr. Weldon, all Florida reps.: Citizens in Vero Lake Estates have complained to me that the crime rate has sky-rocketed in their neighborhoods. ILLEGAL ALIENS "hide and reside" in Fellsmere, Florida and even the gang, Los Chicanos has surfaced in Fellsmere, a sanctuary city, and Sebastian, Florida. Five homes in Vero Lake Estates have been robbed in the last two weeks in a neighborhood that was crime free for as long as the residents could remember until now. Hand tools and tools of their trades were stolen from the heads of the households, the wage earners of the families. Tools were stolen from sheds, garages, work trailers and trucks, making it harder for the American working man and father to make ends meet. Wives have told me they had to take work. I drove out to the addresses listed in the paper and talked to my fellow Americans. Did you?

I am demanding that federal, state, and local immigration agents go into and arrest, detain, and deport some of the 7,000 ILLEGAL ALIENS that "hide and reside" there and "hang out" on the corners. Send some one there and see for yourself. Three years ago a fake social security and Florida ID card ring was broken up in Fellsmere. We, the People want something done about these undesirables. How long do you think We, the People will allow this to go on before the muskets are dusted off or petitions for term limitations are initiated, circulated, and signed? We, the People are dissatisfied with where the country has been taken in the last 45 years. You'd better address this situation before the tsunami of both legal and ILLEGAL ALIENS, buries the country.

Sincerely,

John H. Kirgan, a concerned citizen

This was written 2/18/2007. Here's the reply from Sen. Mel. No one else answered. This is a form letter, by the way.

Dear Mr. Kirgan, Thank you for contacting me regarding the Security and Prosperity Partership of North America (SSP). I appreciate hearing from you and would like to respond to your concerns. The spread of American ideals such as free markets, the rule of law, and democratic governance has increasingly linked our nations security and prosperity with that of our neighbor and allies. In march 2005, President Bush and the leaders of Mexico and Canada announced a trilateral effort to increase security, business competitiveness, and the quality of life in our respective nations.

While I share your concern for protecting our nation's sovereignty, this agreement is not a treaty and does not carry any obligations to the US. Instead, it is a partership through which we cooperate on challenging areas such as trade, counter-narcotics, and counter-terrorism, emergency management-including a responce to a potential avian influenza epidemic, and energy security. In the process, SPP has met with business leaders and held briefing sessions with legislatures. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. Do not hesitate to contact me with any additional questions or concerns. Sincerely..Mel Martinez...United States Senator. Here's my reply:

Dear Mr. Martinez...I didn't want a form letter response. The SPP was never approved by Congress. The President, Fox, and Martin, met in Waco in 2005 in a very hush-hush and on the QT summit. We, the People should have the vote on this and petitions are being circulated against the North American Union as I type. By 2010 there will be a great number of Americans against this union. The sponsors must be aware of this and Mexican trucks are rolling already up what is to be called the NAFTA Superhighway. Foreign investors will have controlling interest in the TOLL road. And you hit the nail right on the head, Mel. The SPP is meeting with BUSINESS LEADERS and held briefing sessions with LEGISLATURES. That's who benefits from the NAU. Big businesses locally, nationally, and globally, i.e Home Depot, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, Radio Shack, The Dollar Stores, Discount Auto Parts, and any other business involved with "Slick Willy" Clinton's Chinese Free Trade Agreement which has a trade deficit of a trillion dollars. You legislators pocket your % of the pie, too. Shouldn't the SPP be holding meetings with We, the People? I've initiated a petition calling for term limitations on members of Congress....John Kirgan

I have received no reply to this letter. And never will.

JHK-  I just loved your letter!  That was just what they needed.  Actually, they need about a million more just like it!  Lets start a petition for that exact purpose JHK!  I'll lay you odds that everyone on Fire Society will sign it and pass it on to everyone they know.  Pretty soon we will have the signatures that I'm talking about!  What do you say people?   I for one know so many people that  are sick and tired of all of the secrecy around this global driven government.  I haven't started a petition so you will have to do it or show me how???

We still need to keep up with Let Freedom Ring!

Hey Lady... I've started a petition for term limitations on this site. It's posted under Hot Petitions. It only has about 160 signatures. Not many members know it's there , I guess. Read it and see what you think. I don't think it needs to be changed. The 1st amendment guarantees the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Redress in this case means AMEND OR EMEND. They don't get to vote. We, the People are the majority. Please sign this thing. We need to get the "lifers" out of politics without "dusting off the muskets.
