I heard Charlie Rengel opine that We need the draft re-instated.!! Others agree with that absurd reasoning. I was drafted into the Viet Nam War. Instead of fleeing to Canada, as some draft-dodgers did, I represented my country even though I didn't agree with our involvement there. How many individuals will take the toll road to Toronto or meander into Montreal if the draft is reinstated? Yeah, Charlie, draft all the Americans that would put up a fight against the ILLEGAL INVASION of their own country and send them out of the country so there's little or no resistance against the NAU and the ILLEGAL INVASION here. Is that what you had in mind? Who defends against terrorists right here in our house?

Gerald Ford, one of the idiots on the Warren Commision, pardoned the draft-dodgers about seven years after the Viet Nam War ended. They were all allowed to come home and avoid court martials for desertion in a time of war, among other charges. I had no problem with Ford's decision. Some individuals would rather be alive than be patriotic. Strong-willed individuals should consider it an honor to insure the safety of the weak-willed, cowards, and infirmed that can't or won't represent their country in a time of war. They want everything a democracy affords them but are unwilling to fight for that country which provides them with the freedoms they enjoy. "Let someone else do it", is their motto. "Hell, no, We won't go" is their mantra. Will draft cards be issued again? Only to be burned again?

The VOLUNTEER ARMY has the task of protecting it's citizens now. Thank God, or Allah, or Buddha, or whomever, that there are still some Americans that will stand up for the rest of us in these dire times. I tried to join again, but, alas, they said I was too old at 58 years of age. I'll stay here and help defend my country. We should arrest and deport all ILLEGAL ALIENS ages 19-35 to Iraq and Afghanistan. They should have to fight in support of the country that they claim is theirs. They'd get three hot's and a cot, a weapon, clothes, and medical attention. If they don't want to fight? Send them anyway. They could cook, clean, and entertain the troops with the Mexican Hat Dance.

The War on Terror is global. Areas like Iraq should be dealt with swiftly. The Iraqi forces have to step up to the plate soon or the ball game is over there. Iran, Syria, and Iraq may come up with a peace plan.(Don't hold your breath). But the underlying motives of Iranian and Syrian leaders are obvious to me. Iraq will be promised it's sovereignty in exchange for Iranian and Syrian forces allowed in a close proximity to Israel. Remember, although there are Christians in Iraq, it is a predominantly Muslim country. Although a democratic government now, Iraq may still be instrumental in the attemped eradication of Israel. Once coalition forces leave, the entire region is up for grabs to the strongest competitor, Iran. Syria bolster Iran and Iraq becomes a buffer zone between Iran and Israel. Israel will not go quietly into oblivion while this is unfolding. It's just about time for Israel to defend itself against their eradication by Ahmadinejad. They will defend themselves make no mistake about that. BOOM!!! There goes the neighborhood.

On a lighter note, is Clinton, Edwards, Obama, possibly Kerry and Gore the best the Dems. have to offer? It seems so follical to me to me that this is the best that they can come with. Rumor has it Ole Jeb will toss his hat into the ring and do the Mexican Hat Dance around it. Ellie May and Jethro may show up for the affair. How about the ticket of Andy and Barney of Mayberry? Amos and Andy comes to mind( Al, I'm not an IMUS). Another great ticket would be Laurel and Hardy. Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis would be another. Howdy Doody(Howard Dean) and Buster Brown.

That's what we're stuck with? The dullards with all the money get to govern the rest of us? Unbelievable. Make all the safety checks. Check the tire pressure, oil, water, transmission, and brake fluids. Fill up the tank. Stock the cooler. Chill enough water. Have enough cash on hand. Secure the kids. Buckle up your seatbelts, and adjust the mirrors. We, the People are in for a long journey, down a laneless highway, into an onerous fuure. Enjoy as much of the ride as you can. Have a good many and peace be with you.

JHK - "Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant to step over the ocean and crush us at a blow?  Never!  All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasures of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest, with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge in a trial of thousand years.  At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected?  I answer, if it ever reaches us, it must spring up amongst us.  It cannot come from abroad.  If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher.  As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."  Abraham Lincoln

Please stick around and stay strong because the United States citizens will need you in the end.  Along with all the men of your training and experience.  This isn't any longer about being a Democrat or Republican, it's about being a United States citizen!

If you want to know who to vote for in 2008 - vote for Tom Tancredo.  He is the man that will turn this country around and put us back on track.  Please check him out.  He is a patriot first - that's what we need.  This is our last chance to take back our country....

A Tribute - Just beautiful!

Nikita Kruschev once bellowed from his seat at the UN in 1961, 'We will bury you from within." The tsunami of ILLEGAL ALIENS in this country has started the slow process. With the threat of terrorists, that we all know are inbedded in every city in America, ever present it's time to drop the "D's" and "R's" and come together as Americans as I've been sayinging in columns on yourhub.com for the past three years now. In Congress, We need "Republi-crats" or call them "Demo-cans" if you'd like. The "Civil War" in our own government sends the decided signal to the enemy that the leaders of America couldn't or won't even come together when their very lives depend on it.

It's tough to hide a town when it's built on a hill. A nation of sheep can be led to slaughter. Thankfully the Militia, the Minutemen, which I will be joining, and armed ex-military vets will protect what is their's and in doing so will protect the Nation. When this thing starts it will be a blood bath. I won't be commiting suicide as "Honest"?Abe alluded too. He goes down in history as the President who started the "Civil War" by denying the Confederate States their right to sesede. He wasn't even alive when the war officially ended. John Wilkes Booth made sure of that. The lone nut strikes again?
