Being neither a Democrat, Republican, or Independent, but a Realist, I find it hard to believe that the current administration is blamed for everything that goes bad and nothing that is good. Lately, not much is good with every one's focus on ILLEGALS and terrorists. Here's one example: This administraton inherited a "surplus" concerning the national deficit. As you remember every taxpayer received some sort of "rebate". How did the surplus come about? God's gift to Presidents, William Jefferson Clinton. How was it accomplished? Do the research. How do you create a surplus? In laymen's terms, how do you save money? You cut spending, right? Makes sense to me. So let's take a walk down "spending lane" and do some research.

The previous administration cut the Coast Guard by 50% around the state of Florida. shortly after the 1996 elections. The DEA was cut by 25% in the state of Florida. A number of military bases were shut down. And that's just the state of Florida. Military spending, or should I say the lack there of, created a huge portion of the "surplus". As a veteran, I know this because I watched it happen. It's the truth. Do the research yourself.

Before I go on let me say, that like others on this site, this is not the only place I submit these articles. Copies go to Fox, CNN, MSNBC, Glenn Beck, Senators, and Jessie's Gang. Florida Today, The Press Journal, and The Hometown News have printed some of the articles. These articles must have gotten through because I heard parts of these articles on Glennn Beck and I heard Al Sharpton use my reference to Nikita Kruschev banging his boot on the UN table and bellowing, "We will bury you from within." He even used the word bellowing. Maybe he read the article or maybe he remembers the event as I do. There are more examples but I don't want you to think I'm "tooting my own horn". I'm trying to point out that e-mails and letters do get through. Voice your opinions to your Congressional reps. They all have web-sites, as you know. There is also a list of their phone numbers in Washington. Their staff rakes through the e-mails and passes along the intelligently put together ones to the respectful reps.

Here's some info I received from John McCain. Yep! He sent me what I requested and answered every question in the order I asked them. Here's part of the info and I quote: "Even in the wake of the extraordinary job our armed forces have done in Afghanistan and Iraq, most Americans don't know or realize our military is smaller than it was during Desert Storm. What happened during the eight years before President Bush took office was one of the fastest and most shocking unilateral disarmaments in American history." Always the politician, Senator McCain doesn't mention names, I do!

Who was in office before GW? "Slick Willy" Clinton. Pundits argue that "our boys" were sent into battle under-equipped. MILITARY BUDGETS WERE SLASHED BY "Willy-Jeff" and GW gets the blame. Continuing from Senator McCain's letter, and I quote,"And now as 9/11 demonstrated, we are increasingly vulnerable in a world filled with terrorists and potential agressors. Consider a few startling facts: thousands of military personel are on food stamps; the Army's strength was reduced by 10 divisions and a total of 630,000 Army personel after 1989 and overall forces were cut in half!!!" End of quote. What? So let's create a surplus at the fighting man's expense? So, who stretched the military too thin? God's gift to Presidents. He continues, "In short, our Armed Forces have been robbed of hardware, training, and incentives, and as a result, there has been a massive exodus of highly skilled individuals from our military." End quote.

Here's part of LAST YEARS Defense budget that someone submitted to Congress and got passed: $27.2 million for the Alaska Wide Mobile Radio Program. For what? $7.8 million for Distance Learning, for what? Distance Learning? $4 million for Smart Truck research and Developement. Trucks that drive themselves? I dunno. You tell me. $2 million for internet education and Safety Studies. Yeah, right. $600,000 for the Lewis and Clark Bicentenial Commemoration support. HUH? and $200,000 for the Military-Civilian Education and Sexual Health Decision-Making program." End of quote. Who came up with that one? So, as you can plainly see about $40 million was added under the guise of the defense budget and didn't make it to troops, but it went to special interests groups. These "porkers" get away with it because We let them. Time to stop this "pork chop" dinner.

The 1996 re-election campaign list surfaced again as "Billary" Clinton runs for president. Did you see the list? $20 million was deposited into her personel account last month from, did you guess already? Chinese and Colombian sources. Same two sources that "His Slickness" was investigated for by the FBI? I'm just guessing, but it seems logical to me.

She became a millionaire 20 times over!!! And consider this, if "Billary is elected "Slick Willy" becomes the first "FIRST MAN". He's back at the White House!!!
