A topic of interest to some Americans, and a volatile subject in most debates, is the subject of slavery. Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the rest of their ilk constantly blame white America for the abuse, detainment, and ownership of human beings. Well, let's see now...The Egyptians held slaves. The Romans had slaves. And slaves are mentioned throughout the Bible. I'm not here to debate the issue, though. If you do your own research on the subject, as I have, if you have any common sense at all, and have taken even one Logics course at the highschool or college level, you may be better educated to deal with the subject matter and come up with the same conclusions I have. White America did not invent slavery. Here's some interesting facts I'm sure the majority of people who read this article will find hard to believe with all the rhetoric they've heard all their lives from the leaders of the melanic race. Less than 5% of slaves taken from Africa came to North America! You heard me right! Less than 5%! The US outlawed the importation of slaves in 1808! When? 1808!! So, it's amazing to me that Jackson and company believes that somehow my generation owes them payback or an apology that some states have issued. I wasn't there and they weren't there, 200 years ago. This is the breakdown of trans-atlantic slave imports from 1450(558 years ago) through 1870. Keep in mind the US outlawed importation in 1808. Others did not. Number one on the list of importing human commodities was Brazil with 4 million. I don't hear "the boys" saying anything about that or even that Brazilians are racists. Number two was The Spanish Empire with 2.5 million. Number three was the British West Indies with 2 million. Number four was the French West Indies with 1.6 million. And holding down the number five spot of the poll? British North American, later to be called the United States, 500 thousand. Continuing, number six was The Dutch West Indies with 500 thousand. Number seven was the Danish West Indies with 28 thousand. And last, but not least, was all of Europe, at that time, 200 thousand. So, as you can plainly see, unless you're blind, less than educated, or just can't read, you can deduce for yourself, most slaves went to South America and the Spanish Empire. The latin country of Brazil and The Spanish Empire were far more guilty. The "Latinos" imported more slaves than everyone else combined. I don't hear Al or any of the other melanic leaders going after the Latino race for "payback." Furthermore, the stronger and larger African tribes raided smaller and weaker tribes and SOLD THEIR OWN RACE AT THE SLAVE DOCKS to the Dutch and Danish when they found out that there was money to be made. The US didn't get into the slave trade until well after it started as it saw all the money the rest of the world was making. Most southerners didn't own slaves and most who did weren't wealthy plantation owners but were small scale farmers and workers. More than half the slaves were younger than 19, coincidently, the average age of the Viet Nam War vet. No comparison intended. According to my research, right before the Civil War, 4 million people were held in bondage, keeping the country "fueled with man-power" but ripping the nation apart. In 1860 the US(the North), held 3,053,731 slaves. About 13% of the population. The states that formed the Confederacy(the South), held 3,525,110, or about 39% of the population. Only 8% of the population of the North held slaves. While in the South, 31% of the population had slaves. Northern slave owners held more per family. The 500 thousand slaves imported had swelled to over 4 million as slaves had children, their children had children, etc. The average slave family consisted of 12 kids. Keep in mind that there were over 500 thousand free blacks at this time with 28,850 living free in Baltimore, MD. Brazil probably had over 20 million slaves by that time, assuming we apply the same math. I could baffle you with more numbers but I think you catch my drift by now. Think about this: If there were no racial issues in the USA, Jessie and his cronies wouldn't have their $250,000 a year jobs!! That's why whenever they can they "stir" in the racial issue. The race card is used when all else fails ala the O.J Simpson fiasco. More recently, the Duke LaCrosse team debauchle and Congress-woman McKinney, who struck the whitehouse security office in Washington. If it's not there they will create a situation just to keep the racial issues simmering and permeating in the country and around the world. They don't really care about the evidence. They just want to make sure it's black vs. white. That way they can continue to be employed and continue to keep the races divided. What would they do if there was no racism? Would they really be reverands and preach the Gospel? Are you kidding me? It's racism or profiling, the new twist to racism, when a white officer arrests a melanic man or woman and nothing is said when a melanic officer arrests a white person. The liberal media runs wild with the story and all of a sudden a racial issue arises even if the officer was only doing his or her job. In most American cities different races live side by side in harmony. No problems. Whites date blacks. Blacks date latinos. Latinos work with white, etc. The melanic leaders keep stoking the fires. It's time to see through this racist rhetoric and come together as one nation. In closing, most of us have the same goals, we all breathe the same air, and we are all human beings stuck on this rotating, spinning planet and none of us were slaves or owned slaves. Racism isn't confined to one race only. It's not as simple as black and white as the ACLU, Jessie's Gang, The Black Panthers, The Nation of Islam, and the NAACP want you to think. Hey, throw in all those neo-nazi groups, too. They are just as ludicris. The majority of Americans can live side by side. It these fanatical radical groups that create the issues and make the media headlines. I respect and get along with everyone....until they give me a reason not to regardless of race, religion, or origin. Read between the lines people.....where no one ever looks. |
