I recently interviewed former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, architect of the 1994 Contract With America, bestselling author, chairman of the Gingrich Group, Fox News commentator, and -- though undeclared -- a strong second or third in many polls for the Republican nomination for President in 2008.

This interview is the second in Grassfire.org's ongoing series of discussions with announced and potential 2008 presidential candidates -- exclusive to FireSociety.com. Our goal is to give our team members the opportunity to hear these leaders respond directly to issues of concern to grassroots Americans. It follows my interview with Tom Tancredo.
