The following is a column originally written by me for Your.hub.com in Indian River County, Florida. The current administration is pursuing a globalist agenda to create the North American Union, much like the European Union. A union between Canada, Mexico, and the United States. It amounts to an expansion of NAFTA, "Clinton's Folly" to include human commodities crossing the border along with the "trade" that is in place now. Note: we buy over half of Mexico's exports! They don't buy much of ours and that trade deficit is in the billions. NAFTA is a joke, just as Ross Perot suggested some ten years ago. A North American Union would effectively erase our borders between Mexico and Canada. This would dissolve America's sovereignty. This is why immigration laws are not being vigorously enforced all over the nation, Indian River County included, and border agents are going to jail for doing their job. Ask any sheriff about their arrest policy. There is none! It's been said over 5,000 illegal aliens "hide and reside" in Fellsmere, Florida. If they're known to be there, why have there been no arrests?. A topic for another column? You bet! Consider this: Illegals have none of our rights including the right to assemble. So why were there no arrests in the "walk-out" in June, 2006? That was an illegal assembly. But, then, why waste time, money, and effort to "round 'em up" when the majority will be allowed to stay in some way, shape, or form in the year 2010, if the North American Union is implemented. In March of 2005, The Texas Summit was held in Waco, Texas. George Bush, Vincente Fox, then the president of Mexico, Calderon has been recently elected, and Paul Martin, Canada's prime minister at the time, met to discuss the union. It flew in under the radar and most American's missed it. It took me a year to find out about it. Very "hush-hush". I don't remember being asked for my vote on the matter. Where you? Here's the proposal they came up with: Formation of a North American economic and security community with common exterior tariffs and outer security perimeter. We'd all be in one big union from the southern border of Mexico to the northern border of Canada. Remember, Mexico and Canada are two of the largest exporters of oil to the United States!!! Why are gas prices so high on this continent! HHMMMM!! Good question. E-mail the governor and/or your state representatives. I did. One senator said he check on it. Gov. Bush? No reply from him. Maybe he missed his e-mail. No reply from the Presidents web-site either. Too touchy of a suject? Or maybe they think I'll just go away. See if you get an answer. Canada also supplies the USA with 90% of our natural gas and all of our imported electricity. The borders would become little more than "speed- bumps". Businessmen make money and a new form of currency would have to be put into place like the Euro, unless "they" go with greenbacks or pesos or a combination of all three currencies of the new union. Sponsors of the NAU were the Council on Foreign Affairs(CFR), along with the Canadian Council of Chief Executives(CCCE) and the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internaciones(COMEX). The USA's Council on Foreign Affairs sponsors an independent task force to investigate things when an issue of current and critical importance to US foreign policy arises and upon reaching a conclusion of the investigation, the task force issues a report. Oh, by the way, the CCCE, founded in 1976, is composed of CEO's of 150 leading Canadian enterprises(businessmen). COMEX is financed by membership dues and corporate support (businessmen). The task force met in Toronto, Monterey, and New York, and stated, that among other things, the USA would lose it's sovereignty. Do you want to lose ours? They issued a 70 page report that I read, but I'm not going to bore you with the details. Read it yourself. Do your own research. The task force consisted of 31 members. 15 members endorsed the report as accurate but do not agree with The North American Union. Half the task force had dissenting views. I concure with 12 of the dissenting views. They are listed in the report. None of the proposals benefits me or any other common citizen of the USA. It would benefit businessmen at the national and global levels and would allow 5 million non-Americans into the country each year for the next 20 years!! By 2030, over 100 million non-Americans will inhabit the USA. If they attain the right to vote, "Jose could be elected president", and life as we know it would change drastically. Rumor has it, The Immigration Party as already been formed and may have a candidate as soon as the 2008 elections. It's inevitable. I've seen it coming for years. Another column topic? Naturally. Of course, I'll be 80 years old by 2030, so it won't really matter to me. I may even be off this mortal globe by then. But you younger people and your children will have to endure the human tsunami as it floods your way of life. Bye-bye flag, heritage, culture, and sovereignty. In 2010 a new administration with a new president will be in place. Mexico just elected Calderon, so Fox is out. Martin of Canada is now gone, too. Has the damage already been done? Will the new leaders of the respective countries honor and then implement the North american Union set up by their predesessors? Let's hope not!! Consider this: When you have a good thing going on and start inserting things that aren't as good, eventually that good thing becomes not so good. Ponder that thought for at least a little while. Start making noises now or Uncle Sam will be brought to his kness by this avalanche of human matter. |
