It makes no difference how conservative you are, when your child begins his education in the public sector, as well as in many private schools, the liberal tear down of your child's courage begins. With only a limited say in how OUR education dollars are spent on OUR children's education, middle class citizens have little chance of rearing a child with courage of thought and action. A liberal is someone completely lacking in courage as an individual. A politically correct moreon that would cringe at the padding down of a 20-something middle-eastern man with a one way ticket who walks into the terminal chanting, and then wonder why the government didn't do more as the guy is cutting his throat while commandeering the aircraft. A liberal doesn't learn from history or employ logical, critical thinking. Like signing on to the thought that we're in a global warming when we've only been measuring weather for a hundred, fifty years on a planet that they insist is millions of years old! If that won't make a statistics professor wipe his behind with his diploma, nothing will. Back to topic. The only way to rescue our children from this mental-midget thinking is to educate them in conservative, independent thought and courage to act on behalf of it in the formative years. How many of you out there have kids in school who, for years have heard from you that the sky is blue, but now that one of their teachers said it, it's fact. If you have kids you know exactly what I'm talking about. That's why having options in education is so important. Again, one word, vouchers; or get rid of the Dept of Education entirely and let the states handle it as it was intended by our forefathers. |
